Jake is an associate attorney who focuses on corporate law, intellectual property law, technology law, and commercial transactions. Jake counsels and advises start-up businesses and entrepreneurs in the greater New York City area, helping clients with corporate formation and governance needs, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and intellectual property registrations.
Prior to joining Cohen Schneider Law, Jake received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he also obtained a certificate in intellectual property, media, and information law. While at Brooklyn Law School, Jake was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic, and was the Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment Law Blog. During his time in law school, Jake worked as a legal intern for New York City Football Club and the athlete representation agency Sportstars, as well as with two law firms. Jake graduated from the University of Maryland in 2020, receiving his bachelor’s degree in government and politics and a business minor.
